WTF?! I didn't know the Flood could drive vehicles in-game in Halo 2! Never saw that in any other game...interesting. 40:35 - And so, the Great Schism begins...the Elites and Brutes have always had a rivalry in the covenant (like the Grunts and Jackals), and now it hits its boiling point, with this final betrayal.

The longer that everybody fights The Flood, the better The Flood gets at assimilating the species they consume - which means they get better at using human / Covenant weapons and vehicles... so expect trouble whenever you see them shambling about, with them finding new was to be a pain in your arse 😆

I do feel bad for the Arbiter.. 😞 I hope Master Chief and him can come together as a team! Happy to see you excited for what’s to come. As am I! 😊

If you switch the old graphics they actually give you different soundtracks. This includes an entirely new metal soundtrack done by a legend guitarist. The old one is wayyyyh better

If you end your game at the start of the next mission then press continue when you come back, the game will then skip the first cutscene at the start of the mission. Keep an eye out for this if you think somethings missing this happend at the start of this mission. To fix this you can manually select missions or just restart the mission once you get loaded in.

Looks like you missed the cutscene at the start of the level :( this happens when you end the game at the start of another mission then pick up later. You can always go to the pause menu and hit restart to see it if it happens again.

Really enjoying your playthrough so far Jonesy, and love your analysis of the storyline. You're right, Arbiter (and the Elites more widely) have clearly been teed up by the Prophets to be replaced by the Brutes. First with recommissioning the guard and now with Arbiter being betrayed. So now Master Chief is unaccounted for, and Miranda and Johnson are prisoners of the Covenant, who also have the Index/Icon to fire Halo. Not to mention Guilty Spark who clearly has his own motive. Even though this ring isn't "his" ring (you destroyed that one last game) he would still like to see it used to contain the flood. And yep, the library is done 😅 the gauntlet outdoors was just to get to the library, and the cart ride at the end was going inside the library. It was too repetitive in Halo CE, so the developers wanted to add more variety, hence the outdoors areas, the vehicles, and then surviving hordes of flood on that final ride into the library. Not as tiring as the first library I hope! Anyway, looking forward to the next one. I haven't noticed if you stream these things live but if you do then let us know! 21:48 to be fair I did say "it will almost always hit", sometimes it misses, sometimes in larger areas it misses but comes back around and if you're really unlucky it'll come back around and kill you while trying to hit the target lol. Can't wait for the next episode.
